ChartsHierarchical
Zoomable Icicle
Explore hierarchical data as stacked horizontal rectangles with interactive zoom. Each level of the hierarchy is rendered as a band, and clicking any rectangle zooms into that subtree. Ideal for file systems, organizational charts, and budget breakdowns with multiple nesting levels.
Examples
When to Use
- Exploring deeply nested hierarchies where depth matters more than proportional area
- File system or directory structure visualization
- Organizational charts with many levels
- Budget or cost breakdowns across departments and sub-departments
